Bottled Guidance by DESIGN- A Tell All

The Personal Back Story:

Hello ladies and gents! Welcome to the new series I am releasing called Bottled Guidance by DESIGN! My name is Sarah V (owner of BG) and this is a special passion project that has been culminating for awhile.. well, since Bottled Guidance first began really. It has taken me many years of learning, growing, and bringing a lot of different pieces together to really figure out what Bottled Guidance is all about. While yes, these products are skin care products, and yes you can simply just use them for that reason- to me, they have always been so much more. These are my babies, this is an art form, this is alchemy, and each one has a story behind them and something that they taught me along the way. To me they are alive and what I've discovered through my journey is that each one has a consciousness of it's own and they can be used for so many different things if you are on a spiritual journey like myself.

I never really "knew" what I was doing. I started my spiritual journey back in 2021 when I was bartending, and back then I always knew I liked creating things that uplifted the soul. One day I started researching what was in my skin care products and was forever mortified and thought maybe I could make something thats healthier and better and cheaper cause omg store bought skin care regimes are ridiculous especially the "organic" ones (insert eye roll here). Once I did some research and started trying things out, I was forever hooked on oils and their moisturizing abilities. Then the idea to form Bottled Guidance began coming to me, not knowing what it would evolve into, I started playing around with things again, all while trekking through the hills and valleys that have been my spiritual journey, so as I grew- so did BG.

I began with a few core values in heart that have always been a constant with BG-

1. Every product would always be made with pure love.

2. This company would never exist for or with greed.

3. I would only create when I felt guided to/ every product would only be created once it arrived in my awareness as intuitive guidance.

Hence the name... "Bottled Guidance" haha get it?

It started with the plasma tools and consciousness, that was my introduction to it all. The plasma has taken this company and these creations far and wide and has taught me so many alchemical lessons that were necessary for me to get to this point. Through learning with the plasma I learned how to truly stay present in every moment when creating, when the energy of the field is in right action and in alignment to create in, how to maintain my own level of integrity and intentions when creating, plus so much more. Honestly I can go on for days about how integral the plasma has been for my process, even today it still plays a huge part to the process, but I've also written other articles that highlight more of the plasma's role in what goes on here so I'm gonna keep it short with this one.

The growth from the products has always been very simple- one by one each plant would present itself to me in a way that could be crafted into a beautiful oil serum. I would take the intentional moments to learn through each plant and what wisdom/lessons it had to provide, and I would never release a product until I was sure that I had transformed everything within me that needed to be transformed in order to be an energetic match for what was coming into creation. Rose taught me to soften, to embrace my inner feminine and slow down- Lavender taught me to quiet the mind and learn how to meditate every time I took a bath- Remedy taught me how to confront my deepest wounds associated with physical scars on my skin and transform stuck emotional energy to get released from my body- Expression Rinse taught me how to become more confident with my voice and speak my full truth- Palo Santo taught me how to ground and showed me how to embrace my inner masculine. Each one played a different part in my story, they each taught me something different about myself, and now I'm hoping they can do the same for you.

While all of that was happening, I was also learning and growing with myself through other modalities like Astrology, the Gene Keys work by Richard Rudd, and Human Design by Ra Uru Hu. I have never experienced or gained more spiritual wisdom about myself anywhere else than working with the Gene Keys or Human Design. Seriously, if you don't have a Gene Key's book- go buy one, look up your chart, and start reading your Life's Work or your Purpose or your Radiance, you will be absolutely mind boggled at how one little chapter will nail you right on the head with everything you experience through your personality in a day to day life. And if you have no idea what I'm talking about right now, hang with me, I'm going to explain each one of these a little more in depth further in this article, I'm just weaving the story of how we got here right now! But it's important to note the process because all of these things combined led me to truly discovering who I am, fully accepting my true self, coming into my own creative genius, and so much more.

Which leads me to last year... Last summer we got a taste of all this new paradigm Aries energy that we are entering & anchoring again now. During that time I started a few things that have since gone unfinished. I was exploring the idea of an ancient alchemical way of extraction called "spagyrics" which taught me more about what I was essentially already accomplishing on an energetic level with the plasma infusion chamber- in the sense of this way of alchemy teaches that there are three aspects to an extraction- the soul, the spirit, and the body of the plant, and by extracting this way you achieve a fully grounded and bio-available extraction that the body can readily absorb. In my process, the soul aspect is found within the volatile essential oils added into every bottle. The spirit of the plant is extracted through the prolonged steeping/infusion process of the plant material in the oils. The body is achieved through the crystals (representing the minerals) that are intentionally placed in each bottle as well. The synergy of these elements come together with the help of the plasma infusion and on top of that I discovered that each extraction is made more potent by the certain planetary movements of the plants planetary rulers. You see, each plant is ruled by a certain planet, it's no wonder the words plant/planet are so similar. At certain peak times of the plants growth through the different seasons, which usually coincide with the peak times of the planet residing in its natural zodiac ruler, the extractions can become much more amplified or stronger. For instance- roses bloom in the spring around April/May when we are in Taurus season, Venus rules Taurus and this makes the infusions much more stronger in the springtime. By discovering all of this, and as a natural Aries woman, I charged full steam ahead with this QR code idea. The idea came to me that for each infusion I crafted, I would write an astrology report outlining the astrological weather during the time of the infusion, how this interplayed with the infusion, and how this would interplay with the body. It was an amazing concept but I failed to realize two key things: 1. Writing an article of that caliber sometimes up to three different times in one week was absolutely burning me out, I was not prepared for that to nearly double my production time and I quickly lost my excitement with it, and 2. I am not an astrology channeler. It doesn't come naturally to me and I was trying to be something I am not. So, inevitably, since I was out of alignment, by the time Mercury Retrograde in Leo happened last August- I was shut down, and hard.

As you could imagine, this was extremely disheartening for myself. I thought I had fully actualized my niche but I didn't. This resulted in me taking a step back this winter... I stopped going to as many markets, lessened my posts on social media, and spent many moments with myself journaling, introspecting, and giving myself the organic space needed to really figure things out. Without having to try, Richard Rudd's "Revelation" book about Human Design appeared in my reality, literally- my sister bought it and it was me who picked it up and found a strong pull towards it's information as soon as it arrived. I read that entire book from cover to cover in the matter of week and I got it. While I have had Human Design chart readings before, I didn't quite understand my own design the way I learned how through this book. It gave me an understanding about some key elements about myself that I have never learned before. Specifically more about my conscious communication channel where my main voice comes through and how I am an intuitive channeler, just not one of the stars- but one of the body and the present moment of now. I had many "A-HA" moments working through learning about each center, many many moments of accepting myself fully, and finally getting the overwhelming feeling that this was the missing piece to my process all along. Human Design incorporates everything I have explored up until this point, and it comes to me so naturally because it is mainly about the body, the health, and the psyche, which I have understood fundamentally for most of my life. It has hit me so hard that I am even now seriously considering getting a professional education in this department because I want to learn even more in depth about the amazing puzzle of a map that Human Design gives to each specific person.

All of this happened for me last November and even then I wasn't focusing on BG, I was still just focusing on myself and what all of this new information meant for me. I spent the entire winter season digesting everything in hibernation and making some major life changes that were necessary for me to again reach this point. For awhile I didn't really know where Bottled Guidance was supposed to go from there. I questioned if BG had really been something I had just created to teach myself more about myself. I wondered if I had hit the end of the road and was quite literally about to surrender and throw in the towel. Until one day I started asking the question how Human Design could interplay with Bottled Guidance? And it hit me. It very well could, it is exactly every element I have already explored combined into one comprehensive experience because it directly correlates with every aspect of mind, body, and soul. But also, couldn't each plant directly correlate with a specific Gate within the Human Design bodygraph? Each plant already interfaces and infuses our bodies, minds, and souls with their wisdom and medicine they bring, along with the corresponding planetary rulers, so why not? I tried researching if there was already information out there about specific Gates tied to specific plants and I found nothing (and if it is out there and I just couldn't find it, I would love to be presented with that), but to me that didn't mean that it doesn't exist. All possibilities always exist in the present moment of Now. And thus, Bottled Guidance by DESIGN was formed.

How it Works:

Before I get in to just how this is going to work, I want to elaborate a bit more on the modalities of Human Design & The Gene Keys in case you are new to all of this information!

The Human Design System:

The Human Design System came into form back in 1987 during an event called the Harmonic Convergence when humanity experienced it's first supernova event. A man named Ra Uru Hu was staying in an abandoned ruina located in Ibiza when a fascinating experience happened to him. He describes this event as a full body explosion where every water molecule in his body exited and he fell into deep physical pain for 8 days and 8 nights. During this timeframe of extreme pain he says a 'voice' came to him and began telling him all kinds of stories like how the universe was created, the energy crystals of consciousness that live within all of us, and how the energy system of the human body truly works. What's interesting to me about his story about how all of this happened is that in the room where this event occurred he notes a few elements that were present for all of this, namely a shelf full of books and herbs and an iron key that opened the door for the room he was in. I feel that is very telling for where we are going with this.

The Human Design System is not a belief system, it is not a compilation of stories, it is not philosophy, and it does not matter what religious, spiritual, or cultural beliefs that you have. It is a concrete map to the nature of being and it is a logical way in which we can see ourselves. The Human Design system is a reading of your genetic code, just by understanding the simple mechanics of your design you can radically change your life. And what this work communicates is simply the inner workings of your own true nature. These truths are simple because they are mechanical and the very workings of our own genes are mechanical by nature. It doesn't matter how hard you try to change yourself because in the end our genes will have their own way about their nature and if we try to interfere with their basic workings it can cause a life of pain, chaos, and confusion within us.

So what the Human Design System really is is a true synthesis of you. Your genes, your energy centres, how they operate within you, and how this affects your physical health. This work combines elements from the original Chinese I Ching, the Kabbalah, Astrology, and even epigenetics. According to your time of birth and based on the planetary positions of that time, every person has a certain energetic coding engraved into their DNA. Each planet activates certain gates which activates and causes a "defined" or "undefined" nature of your energy centers and this allows the formation of certain "channels" that begin to make up the fundamentals of your personality and your unconscious tendencies. By learning about your design you can begin a journey of fully innerstanding and accepting yourself for who you truly are- this leads to a life filled with more peace, happiness, and pleasure about who you are and how you are designed to move through the world. This is going to become especially important as we move into the pre-destined year of 2027 where these systems outline a coming genetic mutation/shift is set to occur.

The Gene Keys:

Likewise, the Gene Keys are an extension of the Human Design System whereas a man named Richard Rudd built upon the original workings of Ra Uru Hu. The Gene Keys are an extension to each gate and it is like taking a magnifying glass to look even deeper into your own defined gates/channels in your Design. Everyone also has planetary placements located within each Gene Key/Gate where you can take a different lens according to the planet and look deeper within yourself.

Richard Rudd describes in great detail in his book "The Gene Keys: Embracing Your Higher Purpose" that each Key is a personality archetype or expression that manifests through your psyche/personality. There are 64 Gene Keys, corresponding with each 64 gates in Human Design, and corresponding with the 64 genetic pairings found within our own DNA. Each archetype has a physical location in the body, an amino acid it is associated with, and is characterized by three different levels of expression: the Shadow, the Gift, and the Siddhi. The shadow level is the low-frequency version of the expression, it is where our unconscious habits and patterns reside and is unfortunately the place where most of humanity resides since most of us are not truly aware of our own inner workings. The gift level is the middle-awakened version of the expression. This is where you become aware of and work through the shadow level and transform it into raw creative strength or a superpower. The siddhi level is the highest, most enlightened expression you can reach. This state is very rare and difficult to reach but it is a place of pure transcendence or divine expression. It is basically like the ultimate flowering of that Gene Key. Richard Rudd says that the best way to move through the different states is through the practice of contemplation. Contemplation doesn't happen through force, it's not meditation, or a quick fix- it is the slow, gentle, and heart-centered thinking/feeling into your own Gene Keys and their different levels of expressions over time. This practice will gradually shift your inner frequency and unlock more of your highest potential and fulfillment when you take the intentional moments to sit with yourself and the expressions outlined in each chapter.

Basically, the Gene Keys are a beautiful and poetic guide that say your deepest wounds are also your greatest potential and can unlock your true spiritual gifts & awakening. By contemplating them gently you can transform your life from the inside out, there is no guru or crazy woo woo practice required, just your own gentle awareness and probably a good pen and a journal to write in!

Okay.... so now that we are all on the same page about what is flowing in now.... I would like to formally introduce Bottled Guidance by: DESIGN.

Bottled Guidance by: DESIGN is a new, interactive experience meant to elevate, educate, and deepen your own spiritual journey by consciously & intentionally using Bottled Guidance products as a bridge to expand your own awareness of yourself, plant medicines, and your body. Each product will be associated with a specific gate/gene key that is chosen by my own intuition, insights, and contemplation of these plants and the wisdom of the Human Design/Gene Keys systems. They will be characterized by a QR code on each bottle that upon purchase you can scan to dive deeper into the Bottled Guidance insights. As a customer you can choose to consciously & intentionally work with each product in this new way by consistent use, application, contemplation, journaling, meditation, whatever way resonates with you. By choosing to work with them consciously they will ignite a gate within your own bodygraph that you will be able to witness working through your own consciousness. And for an even deeper experience you can also look at your own charts to find the corresponding planetary placement for the plant's planetary ruler. Like if you are feeling called to use Rose- while that will activate Gate 25 in the bodygraph as a whole, it will also be working with you on an even more personal level with your own Venus placements because Venus is the natural ruler of Rose. Should you choose you can do your own research and contemplation on whichever gene key your conscious & unconscious Venus placement sits.

The important thing to note here is choice. Everyone has free will and always has a choice. As these products have always been conscious in their own right- they will modify themselves to fit whatever it is that you choose. If you prefer to only transform your skin care routine by keeping our natural oil serums as a replacement for your store bought products you are more than free to do so, they do make wonderful replacements and additions to any routine. But, if you choose to work with our products in a much more expanded and intentional way, you will find that they can be great allies and tools at your disposal while navigating the twists and turns that is this planetary ascension and your own spiritual journey. They can help provide key insights to your own self, where you are at within your own journey, act as a meditation/contemplation guide, or act as a grounding tool. The skin is the largest organ in/on the body, whatever you choose to put on your skin does infuse every cell in our body on a physical, spiritual, & mental level. And because Bottled Guidance products are multi-dimensional in every aspect, they can do so much more than just hydrate your skin. The plant in every infusion and its associated gate/gene key can assist in transforming your life from the inside out. This is not a one size fits all- quick fix it anecdote. This is personal journey designed for every individual living person and the level they are at in their journey.
